In this world, getting insightful information (reports and dashboards) out of any data is fortunately possible with tools such as Power BI Desktop. You don’t have to know about Databases, development, or business intelligence to build your report and dashboard. Anyone can do this. It is going to be one of the essential skills in any job these days to be able to analyze the data. Even if you are not a data analyst, you are operating in part of a business that is dealing with data, and what would be more useful than being able to generate insightful information and dashboards from that data and make informed decisions.
This two-day workshop is designed to get you from the ground zero of using Power BI into being able to build reports and dashboards easily using Power BI. The workshop starts with connecting to the data sources, preparing the data, transforming it, cleaning the data, and removing unnecessary parts of the data using Power Query. It then continues with modeling the data, building data entities (tables), creating logical relationships between them, and applying business rules using calculations in DAX language in Power BI. It then gets to the visualization part of the data, the art of building an insightful report and dashboard that brings the information right in front of the decision-makers' attention. Finally, the course finishes with the process of publishing the report, sharing it with other users, and scheduling it so that the data gets automatically updated without a manual process.
This workshop covers the topic below but is not limited to it;
- Connect to data sources and prepare and transform the data using Power Query
- Create the data model (Semantic model) in Power BI Desktop with relationships between tables
- Create the business logic calculation using the DAX language
- Build insightful visualization in the Power BI report
- Publish, share, and schedule the report for automatic updates
Reza Rad, the author of more than 13 bestseller books on Power BI and Data Analytics, is an international speaker and trainer who will be teaching this course. He has developed the most comprehensive Power BI training program worldwide, and he has been teaching Power BI to thousands in the past decade. He has mentored many and guided them on their journey to use Power BI.
The course includes many demos and hands-on exercises, so bringing your laptop would be helpful, although not mandatory.

During the 1980s, when enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems were predominantly executed on microcomputers, we advocated for a comprehensive business system process (BSP) review every ten years. However, in the current business environment, it is now considered the most appropriate practice to conduct these reviews every five years.
How does a small business manage and, more importantly, afford this process?
Enterprise companies typically engage specialized firms such as Deloitte, KPMG, or others to undertake this process on their behalf. However, the associated costs can be substantial, exceeding $100,000, primarily for the review itself and the subsequent report generation.
Enroll in this two-day comprehensive course to master the fundamentals of conducting a Business Systems Process Review (BSPR) based on the PPT framework. This framework, which integrates the People, Process, and Technology components, facilitates organizational transformations by optimizing their integration and alignment.
The course combines lectures and workshops to equip you with the essential skills required to complete a BSR for your organization.

This workshop covers the topic below but is not limited to it;
- Connect to data sources and prepare and transform the data using Power Query

Through hands-on exercises in our online learning environment, you'll have the opportunity to apply what you learn to build your own balance sheet. We'll guide you through creating each section of the balance sheet, using quick and simplified formulas, and exploring simple formatting options. You'll also discover how to view the same balance sheet format from different commonly used perspectives.
Next, we'll move on to constructing an income statement. You'll learn how to incorporate simplified formulas and formatting options, and how to review different views. Building on the income statement, we'll show you how to integrate budgets and dimensions into your financial reports.
This year, we have a wealth of new material to cover, thanks to the latest changes and improvements Microsoft has introduced to financial reporting.
Finally, we'll wrap up the session by teaching you how to maximize your use of financial reporting with Excel Templates. Learn how to produce your reports in Excel each month with just a simple refresh of the numbers – eliminating inconsistent report formats and manual work.
